June 2024 Customer Spotlight, Peppino's Syracuse

Introducing our June Customer Spotlight,

Peppino's Syracuse!

Peppino's a beloved pizza restaurant in Syracuse, New York, has been serving up delicious pies since 1968. The restaurant has a rich history, with its roots tracing back to current owner John Vigliotti's childhood in an Italian immigrant family. He grew up only three blocks from the original Peppino's and spent much of his time at his uncles' pizza shop where his love of hospitality and pizza-making blossomed.

One of the things that sets Peppino's apart from other pizzerias is their unique dough recipe. John spent years perfecting the recipe, using only the finest ingredients and a special fermenting process to create a dough that is light, crispy, and full of flavor. This attention to detail and commitment to quality has earned Peppino's a loyal following of customers who keep coming back for more. John has also earned a plethora of cooking awards, including two of his most recent awards from the International Pizza Expo in Las Vegas, 2016 2nd Place International Best Pizza, and 2021 2st Place Best Pizza in the Northeast Region. See all of their awards here

In addition to their delicious pizza, Peppino's also offers a variety of other Italian dishes, including pasta, calzones, and salads. The restaurant has a cozy, family-friendly atmosphere, making it the perfect spot for a casual dinner with loved ones.

We had the pleasure of working with John and his team as they had a new Rational iCombi installed in their kitchen. This intuitive piece of equipment allows kitchen staff to cook a variety of food items, increasing efficiency and consistency while saving time.

Peppino's has stood the test of time, thanks to Vigliotti's dedication to preserving his family's culinary heritage and providing top-notch service to his customers. If you find yourself in Syracuse and craving a slice of authentic Italian pizza, be sure to stop by Peppino's!
