Rooted Italian cuisine meets modern Brooklyn at Barano, a wood fired seasonal Italian restaurant situated in the south side of Williamsburg, NY. Chef Al Di Meglio traces his culinary inspiration back to his homeland, specifically his grandmothers birthplace of Barano, a small township in southern Italy.

Barano’s menu infuses old world cooking techniques to modern tastes, using a Wood Stone, Stone Hearth Oven as well as a Wood Stone Mt. St. Helen's Charbroiler. The heat from the wood burning fire in both units allows Barano to achieve the perfect taste, texture and consistency in all of their dishes!
