Tips and Tricks to Navigate NYC Restaurant Week 2023

It's that time again- NYC Restaurant Week is back and it's not too late to grab some delicious food deals in New York City and the surrounding areas.

Created in 1992 as a promotional event for lunches by Tim Zagat, the creator of the Zagat survey, and Joe Baum, a successful restaurateur, it was designed to coincide with the Democratic National Convention in order to draw visitors, reporters, and politicians to local restaurants. It was a huge success and has now expanded to cities and towns across the country.

Typically offered in the NYC metro area two times a year in August and January, this winter’s event takes place in NYC from January 17th through February 12th. Suffern’s event, in Rockland County, is taking place January 29th through February 6th and more deals can be had in Westchester County in Yonkers’ restaurants from February 15th through March 1st.
